Venus

Venus, is a freckled, fun loving water nymph. She has hints of gold makeup as if sparkling from the sun and water. She was referenced from a picture of the beautiful Cailin Russo photographed by Easton Schirra.

The painting is saturated with thick strokes of bright paint and coated with three coats of a high quality, non yellowing, protective gloss finish that gives the water an almost real looking shine. It is all on a flat, sanded, diagonally cut piece of wood. The back and sides of the wood are left raw, though the sides have been coated slightly with a finishing spray for protection.
